Concerned, we rushed to his side and discovered he had ingested several plant-infused chocolate chip cookies. Turning to the internet for help, we realized the gravity of the situation; we weren’t just facing a personal crisis; we were confronting a widespread issue affecting countless families.

With the rise of legal medicinal plants and gummies, children and pets were in danger in their homes. Shocked by the alarming statistics on accidental ingestion by children and pets, we searched for a solution but found none that met our standards.

Drawing on our collective expertise—my daughter’s background in digital marketing, her partner’s background in biomedical engineering, and her childhood friend’s talent as an industrial designer—we began sketching out ideas for a better storage solution.
